Todas las huellas la huella. Estéticas energéticas es un proyecto en desarrollo que se centra en la huella dejada por la industria minera, su evolución y la reutilización de residuos en el momento actual de los planes de transición energética. El objetivo de este proyecto es la intersección entre arquitectura, historia, arte, ciencia y tecnología para estudiar el desarrollo de las técnicas extractivas, la transformación del territorio y la propuesta de alternativas sociales y científicas para futuros posibles con la colaboración de diferentes científicos locales e internacionales, y trabajando con profesionales de diferentes campos, como la arquitectura, la ingeniería, el arte y el periodismo de investigación.
El proyecto amplía mi investigación anterior sobre los posibles usos de los residuos industriales en el arte. Plantea el tema del laboratorio El Sublime Metabólico como una versión actualizada de lo sublime en la actual crisis climática respecto a lo sublime del Romanticismo, siempre basado en una intersección entre estratos sociales y estratos geológicos.

All Footprints the Footprint. Energy Aesthetics is a work in progress that examines the lasting imprint of the mining industry—its historical evolution and the potential for waste reuse within the current framework of energy transition plans. The project explores the intersection of architecture, history, art, science, and technology to investigate the development of extractive techniques, the transformation of landscapes, and to propose both social and scientific alternatives for possible futures.
The work is carried out in collaboration with local and international scientists, as well as professionals from architecture, engineering, art, and investigative journalism.
Building on my earlier research into the artistic potential of industrial waste, the project introduces an updated interpretation of the sublime in the era of climate crisis. This redefinition contrasts with the Romantic conception of the sublime, while remaining rooted in the intersections between social strata and geological strata.
